Eastern Connecticut Health Network (ECHN) is inviting family medicine physicians to apply and join a highly regarded ACGME Family Medicine Residency Program, located in picturesque Connecticut east of the river. The program is sponsored by Manchester Memorial Hospital, with an outstanding community-focused clinical site for residents and medical students to train. The physician leader will serve as Program Director for an ACGME-accredited 8-8-7 family medicine residency program anchored by a stellar academic and collaborative faculty physician team. In this exciting opportunity, the director will possess a passion and commitment to guide faculty and residents in a supportive learning environment. The director is responsible for the oversight of the ACGME accreditation, as well as the daily administration of the residency program with general physician duties. The Family Medicine Residency Program Director will work cohesively with inpatient/outpatient service line leaders, represent the residency program on committees, manage curriculum, and resident recruitment. - Board Certified Family Medicine Physician with preferred previous academic program director leadership or related experience
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical, educational, leadership, and administrative experience
- Connecticut Physician License, Federal DEA and Connecticut Controlled Substance License (or eligible)
